V3 Co-Hosted at Vancouver’s Little Saigon Celebration

On Saturday, November 5th, 2011, various groups and organizations in the Vietnamese community gathered together at Queen’s Plaza along Kingsway in Vancouver to celebrate the creation of “Little Saigon”.  V3 was very fortunate to be a part of this meaningful event.

Greeting Guests

In the morning portion of the celebration, V3 members along with several 2012 pageant contestants participated as hosts and hostesses to welcome the public attendees and VIP guests. Along with other organizations such as Vo Vina performing the dragon dance, SEACHES performing the traditional fan dance and singing, we performed our fashion show with the contestants of our “Miss Vietnamese Friendship 2012”; wearing their Ao Dai (traditional Vietnamese long dresses), strutted their way up to the stage and back around for the spectators to preview our upcoming event.

Greeting Guestsfashion show
Following with the evening celebration at the Floata Seafood Restaurant in Vancouver, V3 co-hosted the event by greeting guests, ushering guests, selling 50/50 raffle tickets, and selling flowers to help fund raise for the development and growth of “Little Saigon”.  We thank all of the guests for attending, being a part of the celebration, and ultimately contributing to the community.
